Mailing List Policy
There is only one mailing list This mailing list uses a form sign up process which can be found on all of the pages under the subscriptions area. The mailing list is served and processed by my hosting company “Dream Host”, and requires authentication which would use a link. Once authenticated, your address would be in the list.
I would be using a web based system which requires specific credentials to access the form. From there, I would compose any email that is to distribute to the list. This subscription is one way, and you as the subscriber can not communicate with the other users of the list.
Un-subscriptions would require using any of the subscription forms on my web site, and using the quit updates button. You may be required to confirm the confirmation. You may also contact me directly, and request to be removed by providing your name, and email. You also must use the email that you are desiring to quit. I may contact you directly to very the authenticity of your request.
The mailing list would only be used for the blog, and my life updates. It would in no way be used to promote products, services, or be leased out to other companies. Nor would I sell or otherwise give your addresses. I also would not give access to the mailing list system where someone would be able to compose a particular message.
In simple terms, you would be subscribing to receive updates about me, and from me – nothing more, nor less. If you don’t want to receive updates, you would be able to remove yourself from the list. You would have to verify you want on the list, and this requires participation on your part.
