2009-12-02: What Happened?
Today was somewhat eventful. I needed to get a money order for the rent, which I managed to do. Since where I go only accepts cash for money orders, I had to walk to the bank and withdraw some money. I also went to the post office thinking I would have got my Netflix discs, but that didn’t happen. So, now I have to try to go the next day.
When I got home, I spent a little time catching up podcasts, and eventually did some chatting with a friend. I also spent some time cleaning my apartment. Even despite the surgeries I had through last year, and early this year – I still get a lot of pain when I’m on my feet a lot, so anything major takes 5 times as long as it should.
As the evening rolled on, I made dinner, and watched a couple of Hulu shows I had in queue. In addition, Chris stopped by for a few hours. He actually spent some time to help out on my place which of course was good of him. After that, I just took a bath, and went off to bed. Yes, I know – a plain ordinary day.
As for plans for the next day, I would have to go to the post office again. I was hoping to get two more sets before my downgrade took effect, but that’s OK. I would also have to go grocery shopping. I hate when my food runs out so early in the first week. I would just go early in the morning, but that won’t be possible. The reason of why would be for a Section-8 inspection. This could be any time between 10AM and Noon. If I was to leave in the morning, and the inspector came at 10AM, I might miss them.
