2010-02-07: What Happened?

Today was a normal Sunday, although with no chance of doing anything. Buses started running, however, limited services, and limited access to routes. My hopes is that there would be regular service, even if limited tomorrow.

I spent a part of the morning chatting with two people. One is a friend I normally chat with in the Philippines, while another is someone I rarely am able to chat with in Indonesia. I also did a little web browsing, and watched Saturday Night Live on Hulu. I wanted to watch the Super Bowl ads, but none of the commercials I wanted to watch were available. I did decide to make an early meal which I would soon regret as I got hungry about 8:30PM. It’s OK though.

My brother stopped down for a few hours earlier today. He was able to get a ride both ways which is good since the buses today are on very limited schedule. He said I should stay home tomorrow, and he would bring a few days, however I feel that it would make more sense to just get the groceries before things would get worse.

As for plans for tomorrow, I would be going to the grocery store. If the 84B is running (doubtful), I would take that bus to the lesser quality Giant Eagle on the South Side considering the bus is a couple of block from where I live. Otherwise, I would go to the main street, and catch the 71A which is the bus I normally catch. I won’t be checking my mail since the Netflix disc hasn’t made it there on Saturday (understandable).
